  Amazing historic accomodation Very unique! Jim & Heidi the owners were legends, very helpful with everywhere to go not only in Beechworth but the surrounding areas. Breakfast was great too!

  Absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous customer service and so spotless too, very luxurious and very special. A true delight in an incredible location. We loved our stay. Perfect!

  From the moment we walked in the door we knew Freeman on Ford was very special and it just got better! Wonderful cosy and comfy bed, port and chocolate by the fire after dinner, tasty breakfast served with style by Heidi in an amazing room. Family tapestries adorn some of the walls and they are amazing too. We were fortunate Heidi’s sister Helen was visiting from Melbourne and we enjoyed our conversations with her and learning some of Beechworth and the buildings history. We will be back!

  A very friendly, historic and unique B&B within walking distance to the centre of town for shops, brewery's, bakery etc.
  Room are amazing, service is excellent and the pool is so nice.
  Heidi and Jim make you feel so welcome.
  Will be back for sure.

  Great location a short walk from the town centre, very comfortable room and shared living room. Wonderful hospitality from the hosts. We would stay again.

  A belated but sincere thank you to hosts Charles & Glenda for the warm and kind hospitality you showed towards my wife and I when we visited your stately and unpretentious establishment recently. Attention to detail in every way, 'step back in time to 1871' we did. The conservatory was a lovely peaceful room overlooking your manicured gardens in the afternoon sun, the dinning room and breakfast to die for (thanks again Glenda) and the formal lounge and open fire reminded me of a bygone era at my grandparent's home, topped off with a pre 'turn down' supper. Your knowledge of the local area and the Beechworth community activities second to none, will highly recommend you to our family and friends.   A beautiful cosy house with welcoming hosts and a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable and it's walking distance to the main road. We will be back for sure.

  It was a very special weekend for the 4 of us as we celebrated our birthdays. We enjoyed the ambiance of the house and the friendliness of our hosts Glenda and Charles. The breakfast was delicious and the extras provide like afternoon tea and chocolates for supper were appreciated. A great place to spoil yourself for the weekend.
