The vegetarian pastie was ok, I personally wouldn't get it again.
The steak pie was delicious with tasty gravy. We ended up getting another!
The French Vanilla slice was also very yummy. Crispy pastry and delicious custard. Was thinking about it the next day.
Also got a couple of other sweets that didn't stand it for me. What I got was a microwave pie shipped in from a place in Melbourne. Extremely disappointing. And for the price you would expect much better.
- Kristen Added January 28, 2024★ ★ ★ ★ ★We tried the Steak and Pepper pies and Sausage Roll, which were delicious. The pastry was flaky and buttery, just how you want it! The sausage roll was seasoned very nicely too.
The atmosphere was great and staff were very attentive, even on a Sunday afternoon. Strange to chuck an egg on the pie and the flavours and textures really did not go well together. I stopped by the OG Beechworth bakery on my way from Melb to Albury for an overpriced and underwhelming (almost gross) pie.
I won’t give it a 1 star as I only had the one dish. If you stop by, I urge you to try anything but the Ned Kelly pie. Or better yet, go to Parker Pie.

The Ned Kelly pie was great and the bee sting was excellent, coffee was okay but still the best we had in the area to be fair. Would definitely stop in again next time we're in the area, keep in mind it does get pretty busy over long weekends etc, we avoided it on the Sunday and came back the next day when it was quieter
